Early and cold morning

These are pics taken this morning right before bringing Hunter to school.We have very early mornings...Well Alexa and I do anyway. She has been waking up at 5 am for the last couple of months. I'm used to it now. At first I thought she would just wake up and go right back to sleep,but no way. I won't just let her cry it out so we are up bright and early and she is back down around 8:30 or 9:00. I actually enjoy it with her because she is so happy first thing in the morning. It was very cold this morning so that is why she looks like a teletubbie in that hat. I tried so many adorable hats on her but she throws them all off. This one hooks on the bottom so she is stuck with it. She laughs at herself when she looks in the mirror.She is such a happy baby!!!

Asking for more prayers

My dad is having surgery on Monday the 17Th. Please keep him in your prayers. This will be his second surgery for his knee. The first one was a massive surgery and he was in extreme pain. The Dr needs to go back in because he has been suffering ever since the first one. He told my dad this surgery will be far worse than the first one and more pain. They are also concerned about blood clots. I HATE seeing him go through this again. I can't explain how I felt when I saw him get out of the previous surgery. No one wants to see a loved one suffer.Please keep him in your prayers during surgery and for a fast recovery. Thank you!!!

Alexa's birthday bash!

Saturday afternoon we celebrated Alexa's 1 year birthday party. She had a blast! She loved all the attention from everyone,and she loved her cake.At first she just kind of looked at it but once she had a taste she loved it.She got so many wonderful gifts. Thank you for all of you who came to her party and all the presents. She was so tired afterwords.She never made a sound once she went to bed. I look forward to see how much more she will learn and accomplish in this next year.

A very dear friend of mines brother is having open heart surgery on the 24Th of November.I am asking that you please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Jeff is a wonderful man.I have known him as long as I have known Jen. We have all been through a lot together. I know his family is going through a lot right now preparing for this.I can't imagine how hard it must be for all of them. I love them very much and will keep them in my prayers daily and I'm asking if you can do the same.Thanks
